El Cencero Lure
8oz, 16oz and 30oz
If you have used these style lures for Big Wahoo in the past, you need to try the Cencero series Wahoo Lures. These things rattle and shake and drive the Wahoo to strike.
If you are heading out for wahoo you absolutely must drag El Cencero back in the spread for up to 15 knots. You will attract Wahoo if they are in the area.

We use an extra skirt on the rigged line with Mylar
The noise and commotion created by the loose head attracts fish. We believe this lure in the spread not only catches fish itself, but also helps other strikes for other species on other lure. For that reason it is wise to have one running at all times.
Cowbell Lures vs Cencero
The theory behind the cowbell lure is clever for several reasons. The way it was designed it created a rattle as well as a cavitation “pop” for a lure of its size. We all know that Wahoo love turbulence and commotion in the water and the lure does exactly that.
With some modifications, coloration of the heads, and other advances our design allows for higher cavitation flow to create a deeper dive and larger pops, but less frequent. The MagBay Lures el cencero lure now comes with colored heads and a sleek design that does allow for a deeper dive and greater cavitation flow.
