Wahoo Clipper Lures

Wahoo Clippers are medium-tackle, bullet-style trolling lures with a custom weight-balanced head that runs true no matter the speed or sea conditions. Tournament-placed in Baja California, they're proven on tuna, wahoo, mahi, sailfish, and marlin alike.

How does the Wahoo Clipper stay on track?

A keel-weighted head. The weight rides low like a sailboat keel, so the lure can't roll or spin — it tracks straight through chop, current, and speed changes that send lesser lures skipping.

Rigged or unrigged — what do you get?

Your choice. The rigged version comes with a 10/0 hook on 280 lb cable, 20 ft of 500 lb mono shock cord, and trolling weight connections — ready to fish out of the package. Mono or fluorocarbon rigging is available on request. Unrigged lets you build your own.

Can you fish it deep?

Yes — troll it straight, or add trolling weights for extra depth when the fish are holding down. The keel-weighted head keeps the action true either way.
